I am pleased to provide a letter of reference describing how Gary Rose helped me in the sale and close of escrow of my parents home in Escondido. I am indebted to Gary for his tireless efforts in finding a suitable buyer. I have known Gary Rose for many years now. We asked for his help in selling our Vista home prior to relocating to the Inland Empire area in 2001. At that time, he impressed us with his knowledge of the real estate business, his use of cutting edge marketing techniques, and ability to overcome any barriers to expedite the sale of our home.
When my parents passed away in spring of 2009, I asked for Gary's help again to sell their home of 40 years. However, the age of their house, my own unfamiliarity with its maintenance history, and current market conditions made this particular sale a much greater challenge and test of Gary's resourcefulness and tenacity.
Gary not only met the challenges presented, but he surpassed all my expectations, Gary was very helpful as a consultant when we needed to decide what work was needed to make the house presentable to prospective buyers. He knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it with a minimum of expense. Also, his extensive network of local resources in the home repair and decorating areas was invaluable here.
I knew Gary was a skilled marketer of real estate properties, so it came as little surprise when several offers came in only a few days after the house was ready to show. However, various challenges produced barrier after barrier to completing the sale. This combined with what turned out to be a couple of unqualified buyers made completing the sale difficult. Gary worked tirelessly to overcome or circumvent these setbacks. But each time a new problem arose, Gary would immediately brush off the disappointment, prepare the necessary disclosures and sign offs for the next time, and get back on track to find the next buyer. His tenacity and confidence in eventual success was always an inspiration to me, and was eventually rewarded when we closed escrow in late 2009.
I cannot recommend Gary highly enough as a Realtor®. In addition to being very savvy about the regional market,
he is a dogged and resourceful in dealing with contractors, financial institutions, escrow companies, fickle buyers and their agents. And since I was always kept in the loop and consulted on important decisions, I felt it was a genuine collaboration. I'm very glad I sought his help with this challenge.
